i snuck into zoey's room last night after nap time to share a one-corner-tiny-sliver-preview of the big girl room we're working on for her. this room is so special to me! jake and I had put together a sweet + simple nursery for her in our last house but just a few short months after we brought her home from the hospital we had to strip our decor down to bare bones to stage our house to sell. this babe hasn't had a room to call her own space for the last 18 months! so my mama heart is overjoyed to create her a place to play and be cozy full and surrounded by things she loves.

color pallet much? i'm infamously known for never being able to choose a normal 2-3 color pallet for anything, let alone a colorful big girl room. excuse me while i spend hours with my Pantone postcards picking the perfect shades, most likely drooling. you should see me walking around joann's with this stack. there may or may not be a lot of awkward staring as i lay them all out matching the perfect ribbon to each one.

we thrifted the sweetest big girl bed for her from goodwill of all places (the things people give away these days! and.... the things they bought in the first place. head scratchers.) but it needs a little tender loving care. so while it gets a big girl makeover, our 4moms breeze has been a lifesaver! simple, classic and the most simple play yard you'll ever use, one push in the center and it's completely secure. my only concern is that it looks so good in here, the bar is set pretty high for this bed i'm facelifting! there's been a few mama-only projects i've had to do while she is awake and to prevent tiny baby fingers in paint, she'll sit in her breeze and read books for a solid 20 minutes. 4moms for the win! the super duper part? 4moms is generously giving me one to give away to one of you! keep scrolling to the bottom to enter. you'll be a breeze believer in a hot minute too.
